Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung mulai membahas rencana penyesuaian batas wilayah (delineasi) yang memungkinkan sembilan desa di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan bergabung ke Kota Bandar Lampung.

Pembahasan tersebut dilakukan dalam Rapat Penyesuaian Daerah Wilayah yang dipimpin Asisten I Bidang Pemerintahan dan Kesejahteraan Rakyat (Kesra) Pemprov Lampung, Muhammad Firsada, di Kantor Gubernur Lampung, Senin 8 Juni 2026
Firsada mengatakan, saat ini pemerintah masih melakukan kajian awal sebelum proses tersebut dibahas lebih lanjut bersama DPRD Kabupaten Lampung Selatan dan DPRD Kota Bandar Lampung.
“Kami sudah melakukan pembahasan dan minta kajian akademis atau studi kelayakan, kemudian akan dibahas bersama DPRD Lampung Selatan dan DPRD Bandar Lampung,” kata Firsada.
Ia menjelaskan, terdapat sembilan desa yang masuk dalam rencana penyesuaian wilayah tersebut, yakni Desa Purwotani, Margorejo, Sinar Rezeki, Margomulyo, Margodadi, Gedung Agung, Gedung Harapan, Banjaragung, dan Desa Sumber Jaya.
“Sembilan desa itu masuk Bandar Lampung ditambah sebagian wilayah Way Huwi yang masuk dalam Jalan Polda Lampung dan ITERA,” jelasnya.
Menurut Firsada, proses pemetaan wilayah akan melibatkan Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA). Kawasan Jalan Polda Lampung hingga wilayah menuju Kota Baru akan dikaji secara detail untuk menentukan batas administrasi yang tepat.
“Jadi Polda Lampung, ITERA menyambung ke Kota Baru ini akan dipetakan lebih lanjut oleh ITERA. Kita nanti akan menindaklanjuti kajian ini dalam bentuk kajian akademis atau studi kelayakan,” ujarnya.
Ia menegaskan, kajian yang disusun tidak hanya mencakup aspek kewilayahan, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan dampak politik, ekonomi, sosial, pertahanan, dan keamanan.
“Sehingga masyarakat tidak ada keraguan lagi bahwa delineasi atau penyesuaian batas ini benar-benar untuk kepentingan dan kemaslahatan masyarakat Lampung,” katanya.

Firsada menambahkan, tahapan selanjutnya adalah melengkapi kajian yang ada dengan berbagai aspek pendukung, terutama dampak sosial yang akan dirasakan masyarakat di sembilan desa tersebut.
Sementara itu, Staf Ahli Bupati Lampung Selatan Bidang Pemerintahan, Hukum, dan Politik, Anasrullah, menyatakan pada prinsipnya Pemerintah Kabupaten Lampung Selatan mendukung proses tersebut sepanjang bertujuan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Delineasi atau penyesuaian batas sepanjang itu untuk kepentingan bersama, kesejahteraan masyarakat atau kepentingan yang lebih besar, pada prinsipnya kami tidak masalah,” kata Anasrullah.
